Overview

mylegacypoint.com ("this website") is operated by Legacy Point Real Estate LLC, a licensed Texas real estate brokerage (TREC #9016847-BB). This policy describes what this website collects, what it does not collect, and how to reach us with a privacy question.

This website is a set of static pages. Visitors do not create accounts on it, and it has no database of its own. The Login link in the footer is for Legacy Point agents and opens the brokerage's separate agent application; nothing on this website itself asks you to sign in. It does not sell or rent information to anyone. The analytics described below recognise your browser when you come back, as explained under Website Analytics.

Contact Forms

The contact form on this website asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of service you are interested in, and your message.

These forms are not currently connected to a delivery system. What you type is checked in your own browser and is not transmitted to us, stored anywhere, or passed to any third party. Until that changes, the reliable ways to reach us are by phone at 469-579-1267 or by email at broker@mylegacypoint.com.

If you contact us by phone or email, we use what you tell us to answer your inquiry and to provide the real estate services you ask for. Those records are held by the brokerage and shared with its licensed agents only as needed to serve you and to meet Texas real estate record-keeping requirements.

Website Analytics

This website uses analytics services to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. The site has no analytics database of its own: PostHog holds the analytics data it collects on the brokerage's behalf, in an account the brokerage controls, and the other services named below hold their own.

  • Vercel Web Analytics: page views, referrer, browser and device type, and approximate country, in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Handled under Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog: records how you use this website so we can improve it: the pages you visit and how long you stay, the links and buttons you click, where on a page you click and how far you scroll, errors the site runs into, the website and any campaign tags you arrived with, your browser and device type, and your approximate location worked out from your IP address. It also makes session recordings, a replay of what appeared on your screen as you moved through the site. What you type into form fields, and the chat assistant's conversation, are hidden in those recordings. PostHog's AI features may be used to summarise and analyse these recordings and the activity of your visit, which sends that session data to the AI model providers PostHog uses. PostHog keeps a random identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage so it can recognise your browser when you return, and your visits are linked under that identifier rather than your name. Handled under PostHog's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics 4: page views and a small number of interaction events (for example, clicking a phone number or opening the contact form), used to measure traffic. Handled under Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics runs only on the live mylegacypoint.com domain, and only when it is configured for the site. It determines its own retention period; we hold no copy of what it collects.

MLS Listing Search

This website embeds and links to the NTREIS Matrix IDX listing search. When you use the IDX search you are interacting with a system operated by NTREIS, and your use of it is governed by their terms and privacy practices. We do not receive or store data from your use of the IDX search.

Cookies

PostHog stores a random identifier in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage; it is renewed on each visit and expires a year after your last one. Google Analytics, on the live mylegacypoint.com domain, sets its own first-party cookies. This website also remembers in local storage that you dismissed its cookie notice, so the notice does not return. Embedded and third-party services (the NTREIS Matrix IDX search and the analytics services listed above) may set their own cookies or similar identifiers under their own privacy policies. You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

What This Website Does Not Do

  • It keeps no database of IP addresses or GPS coordinates. PostHog uses your IP address to work out an approximate location, and discards the address instead of storing it with your analytics events only while the brokerage's PostHog account has its "discard client IP data" setting on. Vercel, which hosts this website, records your IP address in its request logs.
  • It does not track you across other websites.
  • It does not send text messages, and there is no SMS marketing programme to opt into.
  • It does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Communications Preferences

If you have contacted us and would prefer not to hear from us again, tell us by email at broker@mylegacypoint.com or by phone at 469-579-1267, and we will stop. We honor the National Do Not Call Registry.

Your Rights

You may ask what information the brokerage holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact broker@mylegacypoint.com or 469-579-1267 and we will respond within 30 days. Some records must be retained for a period set by Texas real estate law, and we will tell you if that applies to your request.

That includes the analytics data and session recordings PostHog holds for the brokerage: send that request to us at the contact details above, not to PostHog. Vercel and Google hold their own analytics data, so a request to delete it is best directed to them through their own privacy tools.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the website changes. Updates are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
